Artwork Guidelines
To ensure your packaging turns out just as you envision, here are some important tips for preparing your artwork files.
File Types We Love
For the best quality, send us files in EPS, SVG, PDF, AI, or PSD formats. These formats keep everything sharp, clear, and easy to work with on our end.
Have a Logo Only?
If you only have your logo file, no problem! Just send it over and let us know where you’d like it placed. Our design team can help with layout and positioning to make sure it looks fantastic.
Have Finished Artwork?
Awesome! If you already have your artwork ready to go, we’ll take a look, make any adjustments needed to ensure it’s production-ready, and send it back to you for final approval.
Need a Die-Cut Line Template?
Just let us know! Our sales team can provide the die-cut template that matches your project so you have a perfect starting point.
Getting Colors Just Right
To keep colors true to your vision, we recommend using Pantone color codes, especially for large areas or projects where precise color is essential. Also, please make sure colors are set to CMYK mode for the best color accuracy in print.
Fonts & Text
- Outline Your Fonts: Please convert your fonts to outlines before submitting your design. This keeps everything just the way you want it.
- Unique Brand Fonts: If you have a custom or licensed font for your brand, simply include it in a separate file. We guarantee it will only be used for your project—your fonts are safe with us!
Text & Line Art Tips
- Font Size: For clarity, use at least 8pt font size.
- Color in Text: Feel free to use any color for text, but bold, solid colors often look best.
- Bleed Areas: Add a 0.25-inch bleed for any graphics extending beyond the dieline.
- Line Thickness: Keep lines at least 1pt thick for sharp, clear lines.
- Embed or Outline Fonts: Make sure all fonts are either embedded or outlined so nothing shifts around in production.
